I am sending this letter to request a hearing, in order to have my drivers’ license reinstated and back in good standing. In recent times, my drivers’ license has been cancelled due to me falling behind on my surcharges. I am on disability, and there have been some recent issues with my SSI account. I recently paid to have my license reinstated, and I was advised that it could take up to 7-10 days for my drivers’ license to be back in good standing. I am writing to thank you for your service to the United States and wish you a happy Veterans Day. The magnitude of your selflessness and courage is incomprehensible to me, and though these may be trite words, I sincerely mean what I say. I can think of no experience more inherently laudable and worthy of profound respect than serving in the armed forces. What compounds my gratitude of your service specifically is your modesty in discussing your service. Indeed, I believe you mentioned your service only once or twice in class.…

Classes such as Scitech gave me an understanding of what engineers do which provided me with a great deal of interest. Other clubs such as Science Olympiad and TEAMS have also given me experiences that have fostered this interest in engineering with competitions and processes of creating something.…
