SPC Fuerst was a valuable asset to Bravo 1-43 Air Defense Artillery Battalion in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. He served as crew member one for hot crew during numerous Operational Readiness Exercises while stationed at Camp As Sayliyah. His professionalism and commitment to the mission contributed to helping both firing units on Al Udeid Air Base to successfully pass their Operational Readiness Exercise Evaluations.

Throughout his tenture with 1-43 "Cobra Strike" Battalion, SPC Fuerst maintained his equipment fully mission capable. SPC Fuerst's launcher continually held a 100% operational readiness rate by continuously fixing deficiencies. SPC Fuerst was responsible and accountable for two M1151A1 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled
