Kris reported about her meeting in Washington, DC with HPOG, which is our grant funder and we are doing well.
We have SOHOPE students that are ready to interview. Kris shared that giving students a gas allowance is the biggest expenditure which is given to the student through a Fred Meyer card. This card may be replaced with a different card.
Kris could work with Case Managers about having a tutor available to AHO/SOHOPE students. Maybe add the tutors name to a book in the library or put an advertisement on the RCC bulletin board or Craigslist.
Action Item:
• SOHOPE Case Managers to set up study groups that may need a tutor after the first of the year. Maybe week two after the winter term starts for AH130. Then a tutor for spring term for courses AH140 and AH141.

When a chair becomes available Wendy can notify. o Teri let the team know that we can order chairs. However, they will not be the similar to prior ergonomic chairs.
Everybody equipment budget and order accordingly.
It is recommended to discourage workplace rumors which can harm a reputation of others. Managers/supervisors are aware of these rumors and will handle this situation accordingly.
Carmen presented the interest form to the staff. Carmen asked if everybody would like the form put on the landing page and each program webpage. There would be an interest form link that people could access and enter their information. This interest form would go to Marketing/Recruitment.

Many experiences in my life have changed my views in multiple ways, but by far the most life changing experience has to be when I was elected Daingerfield District Vice-President for the FFA. This experience has broadened my comfort zone of shyness and unconfidence, and as the FFA Opening Ceremonies say, it brought me “into the glorious sunlight of brotherhood and cooperation.” I finally began to realize after Greenhand Camp, my freshman year, that I might have a potential future in the FFA. With the support of my chapter, friends, family and much devoted prayer, I was able to accomplish my fears and officially announce that I was running for District Officer.…

Wow, your own theater at home! That is pretty exciting. Things sure have come a long way from going to the theater and having to share the movie with a bunch of strangers and trying to get the bubble gum and sticky candy off of your clothes that rubbed off from the uncomfortable seat you had to sit in, to watch a movie where the sound was incomprehensible and unless you came early, you saw the movie from an angle that tweaked your neck but helped the chiropractor buy a new boat. Yes they have. Things have come an awfully long way.…

I would love to establish a club where students can receive help or advice with their courses or homework.
