SCARF Leadership Essay

The basic definition of a leader is someone that has the ability to lead a group of person into achieving a common goal. Being a leader requires good communication skills, being able to connect and relate to others, being compassionate, inspiring and trustworthy. There are different type and style of leadership; however, in conjunction with my INFJ personality, as a leader, I am empathic, honest, and decisive. I am the leader that listens, advise and care about others opinions. I can use the tools to encourage the participation of my followers in the pursuit of our goals, also keep them informed and involved. Thanks to the tools I can learn how to effectively let them in control of different activities and avoid unnecessary supervision, I am a leader that guide, not one that order people around. It is my responsibility to share with them clear and specific strategies for the future and give them choices when it comes to how to achieve our goal.
