Hope this meets you well?

I am writing as a follow up to my earlier email this week as regards my participation in this year’s SC-ADAR program.

I would like to thank the entire SC-ADAR team for their continuous support and outstanding commitment in encouraging the participation of minority population in diverse areas geared towards cutting edge research.

The values and knowledge I have gained during my participation in this program is immeasurable.

I would like to thank Dr. White for his exceptional approach in passing on life-changing knowledge through his lectures. I would also like to thank Dr. Leith for her hard work in making sure we (I) did not just glide through the entire program without knowing the true meaning

Dear Global Teacher Prize Academy Committee, I am very pleased to recommend Dr. Katherine Heavers for the Global Teacher Prize. I was a 12th grade student in her class from 2014 to 2015. The course was called Human Anatomy and Physiology, but that name does not do everything she taught me justice. In her classes, she sets aside five to ten minutes for students in one of the most competitive N.J. schools to relax with yoga techniques. Reinvigorated, students listen to a quote from Dr. Heavers and relax for a minute of peace, possibly the only minute of silence besides sleeping that the students get all day.…

Unfortunately, tensions between the majority ethnic group and minority ethnic group have been prevalent since the beginning of this nation’s history. Dr. Whitlock and Reverend Tim Keller both give similar speeches on the inequalities/unbalance between races and systematic evil. Dr. Whitlock’s speech is speaking mainly to his goals for his university and racial tensions still present today. While Reverend Tim Keller’s speech speaks mainly of systematic evil and its effect on civilization as a whole. During Convocational Chapple Dr. Whitlock began his address in a way that I felt was very relatable.…

A Letter to Adam J. Banks Dr. Adam J. Banks: I write this letter in order to express to you the impact your article, "Race, Rhetoric, and Technology: Searching for Higher Ground," has had on me personally. As someone who identifies as White, it has opened my eyes to how different spaces of the Internet react to the expression of Black culture. This reaction reflects a racism that has gradually been institutionalized within our society for hundreds of years, and is one that Whites should be ashamed of. You have stated that the Internet’s default user is White, and, because of this, the default language is Standard English. Based on these regulations, we reject the use of Black English as if it is not an actual language, as if it exists solely…

While analyzing historical texts, one should always proceed with caution, and read tentatively; specifically, due to misinterpretations, false translations, and basic human error, verbal speeches delivered in previous centuries tend to succumb to inaccuracies, which leads to false transcripts of the actual work. Despite this, one can still appreciate the words of Chief Seattle, the Native American chieftain of the Suquamish tribe, in his speech Address, which was presented to the European settlers in America circa 1854. In his speech, Chief Seattle presents his beliefs concerning the white settlers wishing to purchase his tribe’s land in order to create modern cities and European infrastructure. In return for access to their land, the settlers…
