Ryze was formed when parts of rock were drawn towards a small moon that was flung from the gravitational pull of Jupiter . The moon was slowly getting larger pulling more rock towards itself, increasing its gravitational pull. Over the time of 78 million years the moon was now a planet. Ryze orbits around Alpha Centauri A and was found to be in the 'Goldilocks' zone.
