Who Is My Hero?
Upchurch The Redneck. Ryan Upchurch is not just your typical person. Upchurch comes from the backwoods of Cheatham County, TN. Upchurch got his start by posting videos of himself ranting about the little things on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, Upchurch would rant about anything, from serious things too the little things to put a smile on someone's face. He rants about anything, how he feels, what he thinks about things, from the presidential election, to trending topics. He would talk about it in a serious, yet comedic way. You might be wondering what I mean by that. Well, what I mean is, during the presidential election, people who voted for President Donald Trump was considered racist. Upchurch then spoke out more speaking for the people in the south, asking how we could be racist or anything amongst that for standing up for what we believe in. On social media he did receive some backlash for it, but, he shrugged it off like it was nothing. After a while, he got tired of hearing how terrible the south was because they voted for President Donald Trump. So, he made a song called “Donald Trump” and during the song it does have a short little clip from when Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were in their second debate from each other. Upchurch let it be verbally known that he didn’t care what candidate you were for, that he was for Donald Trump, and didn’t really care what people thought about him, that their opinion was irrelevant to his choice of candidate and irrelevant to how he felt. Nobody could ever change the way he feels about the south, the military, and where he comes from.
Upchurch always talks about being from the backwoods of Cheatham County and what it means to him. His first album he put out he called it “Cheatham County” and its a few little songs about Cheatham County and what it means to him. On his little videos on his social media pages, he even talks about Cheatham County. He isn’t ashamed of where he came from, and he lets it be known. Upchurch in a way brags about being from Cheatham
