Ryan Crumpton Research Paper

Decent Essays
Every man has his own set of hopes and dreams. Some may choose to chase them, and some may focus more on friends and family. However, Ryan Crumpton is an exception to the game. He has somehow found a well‐balanced in‐between ground most young adults haven’t even mastered yet. He does both. Ryan loves pursuing his outdoor hobbies, supporting his family, and aiming to obtain his goal of becoming an industrial engineer.
First off, maintaining the hobbies he loves is a crucial step in keeping his life on the right track. Staying focused on school is important, but everyone needs fun in their life, Ryan is no exception to this. His ideas of fun range anywhere from sleeping in all day, any day, to going on the lake with friends. This summer, Ryan worked at Kahuna Bay, a marina on Lake Hamilton.

One of his favorite things to do while on the lake is tubing, it’s very exhilarating. But that’s not all, he also enjoys collecting old baseball cards, as this was one of his dad’s hobbies when he was younger.
His favorite card is the Chipper Jones rookie card, who also happens to be his favorite player.
On the other hand, it is quite obvious his family holds a special place in his heart as well.
Carving out time of Ryan’s busy schedule to spend time with his brothers and mother are at the top of his priority list. Ryan’s twin brother, Tanner Crumpton, and him share several things in common, but their favorite is video games. Over the course of twenty years together, this has been one thing they have continually bonded over. As well as spending time with Tanner, Ryan loves to spend time with his eleven‐year‐old brother Brennan as well. They enjoy playing sports

The character in Fences I most identify with is Cory Maxson, the son of the lead character in the book, Troy Maxson. He is my favorite character and the one I identify the most with because we are both young men who are driven and capable and who ultimately want to fend for themselves in the world and prove to our parents that we can make it and succeed in this life with or without any type of forced assistance or control from them. I do share some similarities with Cory Maxson but we also have some differences concerning certain aspects of our lives. Cory Maxson and I share some traits related to our relationships with our respective parents. Cory has a complicated relationship with his father, trying to prove that he can be a man, succeed…

What Led Chris McCandless Into the Wild? Upon reading Into the Wild, many wonder what made him drop everything in his life and hitchhike and go to Alaska. Since reading this book, I have to the conclusion that he went into the wild as a cause of the rebellion of his youth and risk taking tendencies. He was fairly young when he left home, and he decided he didn’t want to do “the norm” and rebelled against his parents wishes that ultimately ended up killing him.…

Family Assessment Assignment According to Potter and Perry (2010), a family assessment is necessary to provide sufficient family care and support. A family assessment gives the community health nurse an overall picture of the family’s structure and functions. Family health concerns are acknowledged and family strengths are emphasized by completing a family assessment (Stanhope, Lancaster, Jessup-Falcioni, & Viverais-Dresler, 2011). This paper will examine a family assessment that I conducted with a family and will include a completed genogram (see Appendix A) and ecomap (see Appendix B).…
