Ruth Fertel, the founder of the largest fine steak house in the United States, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, is looking for alternatives to increment the revenue and growth of her business. This restaurant chain has today 92 restaurants in the U.S and 51 franchises located within Canada, Taiwan, Mexico, and Hong Kong. An analysis performed by her and her partners showed that there’s a huge potential for the company to continue growing and expanding among other nations.

Ruth, by the side of the vice-president for business development, Dan Hannah, analyzed four models that could help proceeding with the growth and expansion of this business. The four considered strategies were: product development, diversification, penetration, and market development.
