There are many elements that humans come in contact with every day. One of these elements is ruthenium, and you see it almost every day if you use pens, electronics, or jewelry. There are many sources, uses, and health hazards for the element of ruthenium. Here are the locations where you can find ruthenium. There are two places in the world where you can find the element ruthenium. You can find it on the continent of North America in Canada and on the continent of Europe in Russia. In Canada miners work in the province of Ontario, Sudbury. The miners work in the Sudbury basin which is where people mine for nickel, copper, and ruthenium. In Russia, where it was first discovered, you would find Ruthenium in the Ural Mountains.
