“Run Forrest, Run.” In this scene, Forrest is being picked on by bullies. Forrest is a sweet, young boy at the time. The young boy has dark hair, tan skin, and braces on his legs. He wears nice clothes: a plaid button-up shirt, and khaki shorts that go above his waist. Many bullies threw rocks at Forrest making him eventually bleed. In this moment, Forrest has that I’m-going-to-die expression on his face. During this time the girl, Jenny, tells Forrest to run away. He kind of hesitates at first, confused at what is going on. She says, “Run Forrest, Run.” He runs as fast as he can, kicking the dust up behind his feet. Bullies are hot on his heels; however, Forrest is so fast that he is almost flying. Hence, the life lesson Forrest learned was that he can defy the odds. He overcame running away from the bullies and broke out of his braces when he was supposed to wear them for a long
