Rumpelstiltskin was wanting to help someone and be a good person. Wanted to help the miller’s daughter get killed by the king’s authority. So Rumpelstiltskin thought that he would be able to help the daughter by doing her the favors. She agreed to the favors and helped her live. So they were both happy by the end of the favors that he has done for the miller’s daughter. Rumpelstiltskin is a lonely man living somewhere in the magical land that he lives in. He was need of some money and thought he would have her give him her ring and necklace. The ring to do the first favor and the necklace to do the second favor. Just a man trying to get by on food and whatever else he needs to pay for. Rumpelstiltskin was in desperate need of some money and the daughter was just the perfect timing to get the money. Rumpelstiltskin is wanting to have a kid but is not able to. So Rumpelstiltskin heard a girl, The Miller’s Daughter, weeping how she could not do what is asked of her. Rumpelstiltskin appeared and said “If you promise me your first born child; I will spin the straw into gold.” That is when the daughter agreed and went on about his business of the favor that he agreed to do. Rumpelstiltskin is showing the daughter that he would be a great father by spinning the straw into gold. Showing that he would be able to support the baby and its needs when growing
