Rumble Fish Characters

The title of the book I read is called Rumble Fish by S.E Hinton, the genre of this book would most likely be under young adult and maybe some other genres too but young adult fits in best. The setting of this story would take place somewhere in America. The main character in this book is named Rusty James, Rusty James is one of the toughest junior high kids in his town. He smokes, drinks, fights, steals and he is well respected by mostly everybody. One of the other main characters would be The Motorcycle Boy, He is Rusty James older brother and Rusty James wants to be just like him. The Motorcycle Boy got his name because of his affection towards motorcycles, he would sometimes steal them and leave for days at a time. Another main character

Many interesting points and ideas are discussed in Flannery O’Connor’s essay “The Element of Suspense in ‘A Good Man is Hard to Find’”. These ideas are not only concurrent with O’Connor’s short story “A Good Man is Hard to Find”, but they can also be broadened and applied to all aspects of literature. O’Connor’s primary theory; one that I believe is prevalent not only in writing, but in everyday life, states that violence is the only thing capable of bringing a person back to reality, it is the only thing that can strip away somebodies personality, and leave behind only their basic and primal instincts; it leaves behind their true essence.
