Chinese High School Students

In this paper, I will demonstrate that how and why I followed some rules as a Chinese high school student. During the high school student life in China, we were required to wear uniforms whenever at school. Also, we could not wear any accessories such as rings and necklace. A uniform is an object that represents the student status, which means the uniform is a symbol of school and student. Since every school have different uniforms, I was the symbol of my school whenever I wear the uniform. In addition, the reason why I accepted this rule is that as a student I must observe the “school law” otherwise I can not learn in school. Then I have to obey the rules that wear the uniforms every Monday to Friday. However, after a period time, I found that it is reasonable for students to wear the uniforms because everyone wears same clothes will make them focus on study. For example, if everyone wears different styles of clothes, it prevents students from focusing on study. Although I still do not think this is the best method for students, but for now this is the most effective way that will reinforce the student status in school. In my opinion, wearing the uniform for students is contributed to the healthy functioning of the school, which will be able to manage students for school and society because people could easily distinguish who is a student and give them a necessary protection. In some ways, this rule will be able to increase our cohesion and solidarity with my class and school. This is due to the fact that uniform gives us a common language with my classmates, we all feel like part of the collective wherever and whenever.
