Rufus King was a lawyer born and raised in America. His mother gave birth to him in 1755. He wasthe oldest child of a great farmer.King graduated from Harvard College and was one of the top students of his class.King was believed to be a wonderful minipulative speaker.King grew up believing slavery was okay so when the time of slavery came he definitely owned multiple.In 1780, Rufus King was elected for the Massachusetts state legislature.In 1784, King travled to Philadelphia to represent Massachusettes in the contiential congress. The first Article i believe he would be most for is the second article although, he was not elected to be the president of the United states at the time i think he would agree and would be for the whole second article. Let’s face it every human craves power so he would also be against the whole separation of the powers. But since he couldn't change it i think he would have been against the Legislative branch making the laws only. King would be totally for section five of the second article. The section states that the elected president must be a natural born citizen of the United states. And at this time all slaves were not considered citizens.
