As new generations are forming, so are the people’s actions. Our behavior is changing in ways we don’t even notice. The change of behavior can be influenced on many things such as parents, friends, or technology. It can depend on many aspects but in the end, it is our own choice to be rude or not. People being rude is happening more often than we think and notice. There are more people being rude that we don’t want to acknowledge it. Such events as bumping into someone without apologizing, interrupting, sarcastic remarks, or talking behind someone’s back is equally rude. These type of actions seem to have become habitual behaviors. Many times people don’t realize their actions. This type of behavior is happening all the time. In the article “Rudeness on the Rise” by Amanda Onion states that “more than one-third of 1,000 people polled rate the manners of Americans as poor.” People don’t think about their rudeness because it has become embedded into them. The worst part of being rude is when they don’t realize they are doing it. The influences are other people, technology, and how the new generation is being raised by their …show more content…
It can change someone’s judgment on them, but we don’t hear them as often anymore because people are in a rush or they don’t notice. It is easy to be polite and show manners but people are still rude. From the article states, “ the bottom line is, how you treat people is not about how they are, it’s about how you are” (Onion). It doesn’t matter how people are, it’s about oneself respect for other’s then being selfish and greedy. People have changed in a negative way. They are presenting themselves with a lack of respect to others. Although when other people are being rude, oneself can show a better action than being rude back.
