The book I read this year over the summer is called, “Ruby Holler”. The Author of this book is Sharon Creech. Sharon Creech has a great imagination. She makes this book flow so wonderfully. She makes me feel that I am in the book because of the great details she adds in this book. I am glad that Sharon chose to write about fiction. Ruby Holler was an amazing book!

The setting first began in Boxton Creek where Dallas and Florida were sent. Threw out the book it was outside. Then it was mostly in Sairy and Tiller’s house. At the end this all it lead up to being in the beautiful city, Ruby Holler.

I think that I can relate to Sairy. Not meaning am an older woman but meaning that I have a loving heart. I don’t want to be selfish or anything but, one day I want to do what Sairy did. She brought Dallas and Florida into her family because she understood what they were going threw. I can relate to this because three years ago I saw a baby bird in the street. My family helped it out but the first question I asked my parents was, “Can we keep it?” Well know that I am older I understand that we can’t just keep wild animals as pets. The bird to me know relates to Dallas and Florida. Sairy joined Dallas and Florida to the family and if I could of joined the bird I would of. If the bird was to join our family I would relate to

Over the years I’ve read so many books, and a lot of them I would consider them as my favorite book. But the book I’m infatuated with is Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. Speak is such an amazing book because of the way it was written, the suspense, and the book brings awareness to others, especially to young girls about her situation. One reason I absolutely adore this book is, because of the way Laurie Halse Anderson wrote the story.…

In the book The Round House by Louise Erdrich, one thing that I really liked was the plot in which the story took place. The novel took place in an Indian reserve in South Dakota on the year of 1988. This plot interests me because, in contrast to Saratoga, it is poor, people are always hungry and the city is still much undeveloped. Plus, it also amuses me how people lived in 1988 were a lot different from cities in the present. Another thing that I appreciated about the novel was the look into the life of a person whose family member was sexually assaulted.…
