Rube Goldberg Rube Goldberg was a very talented man that exceeded as a cartoonist, engineer, author, sculptor, and inventor. Graduated from the University of Cal Berkeley as an engineer, he began to work at the San Francisco Chronicle. Goldberg is the only person “ to be ever listed in the Merriam Webster Dictionary as an adjective”(rubegoldberg.com). He did about 50,000 cartoons in his life, most of them depicted of inventions made with gadgets to complete a simple task. All of this talent began when he was barely four years old. Rube Goldberg at that age took art lessons.
