Rubber: Movie Analysis

Everybody knows at least one movie that just should not have been made. Creators and directors all over the world create films as a living, but only sometimes are they actually worth it. A character's lines always affects the movie. In the very beginning, a random car comes out of nowhere, and knocks over chairs sitting in the middle of the desert. A man, later known as Lieutenant Chad, climbs out of the trunk. Facing the camera while holding a glass of water, he states "'In the Steven Spielberg movie E.T., why is the alien brown? No reason. In Love Story, why do the two characters fall madly in love with each other? No reason. In Oliver Stone's JFK, why is the President suddenly assassinated by some stranger? No reason. In the excellent Chainsaw Massacre by Tobe Hooper, why don't we ever see the

He rolls around the desert killing animals, and eventually people, with his telekinetic powers. Meanwhile, the bystanders with binoculars just laugh and joke. Robert checks into a hotel and gets upset when the maid cuts off his shower water. In revenge, he blows her head off. Just like that. The only witness to the crime is a teenage boy, who nobody believes. Lt. Chad has been acting like he does not know of what killer tire is being discussed. However, he later pretends to have an epiphany. After having an accidental run in with Robert, he decides it is time to kill the tire. He awkwardly states, "Oh, God, the kid was right. The killer is a tire" (Rubber). This leads police on a wild goose chase to find an escaping tire. When they finally find Robert and kill him, they think the nightmare is over. However, a man from the crowd rolls in in his wheelchair and yells,"Hey, wait! It's not the end! He's been reincarnated as a tricycle"

"Wanted" is basically from a comic book that has limited series written by Mark Miller and J.G Jones, it is about an amoral protagonist (Wesley Gibson) who is discovered as the heir of super assassin. Russian director, Timur Bekmambetov, he is the cream of the crop, he turns this comic into a movie that make the viewers not sit still and make their adrenaline and cortisone levels spike with the actions. Bekmambetov used the similar style of shots and angles with his previous movie, Night watch. It's more to wide angle (long shot), so we can see the terrifying background like one of the scenes in the torture room, where Wes has been beaten up by the butcher. Not even that, there are many special effects that Bekmambetov applies in this movie, like slow-motion with sound effects that certainly provides that "ouch" reaction from audiences.…

Carlos lives in Argentina and is 11 years old which is near my age, but that is the only thing we have slightly in common. We live completely different lives and Carlos does not have all the luxuries I have. Out of the all the other kids Carlos is the most modern of the four his clothes are similar to mine and he lives in a small house made up of bricks.…
