R's Hayden: A Case Study

ALLEGATION
R/s Jessica (mom) has no stable housing, she moves from one house to another. R/s Jessica is doing drugs, she uses marijuana and takes Xanax and Adderall. R/s Hayden (4) is always dirty and hungry. R/s Hayden smells of marijuana and pee (days old pee). R/s Jessica leaves Hayden with anyone. R/s last week Hayden was sick while in the care of his father, Joseph. R/s Joseph didn’t take Hayden to the doctors. R/s Joseph leaves Hayden with Jessica’s mother and she and her husband are pot heads. R/s two weeks ago, Hayden had a bump on his head and now there is a piece of bone sticking out of the child’s head. R/s Hayden needs to be evaluated because he is four years old and can’t talk.
