RRMC, like many other healthcare organizations has some internal and external strengths and weaknesses. Due to the large volume of hospitals located within driving distance of Etowah County, there is a significant threat of substitutes in the market, in particularly when it comes to individuals needed emergency, as well as, non-emergency care. However, RRMC’s revamping of its Emergency and Cardiac Care departments was a significant strength because now it was able to provide state of the art care to patients.
