Predator is possibly the best-known Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. It has been operational in Bosnia since 1995 in support of Nato, UN and US operations and as part of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom, flying more than 500,000 flight hours on over 50,000 flights. The MQ-1 Predator achieved initial operating capability (IOC) in February 2005.
RQ-1 Predator was equipped for reconnaissance. It can send imagery from radar, video cameras and infrared camera to soldiers live in action, the ground control station or to any part on the world. It is controlled via GPS satellites and can be operated from any place.
