Darrell K. Royal Stadium
Austin Texas is home to the Darrel K. Royal Stadium, one of the largest stadium in the United States. The Texas Longhorns preform all their games in the Darrell K. Royal stadium. It is a wonderful place to make memories with your friends and family during a big game. The Darrell K. Royal stadium is a fascinating place to be during the Texas Longhorns game. The history of the making of the stadium will amaze anyone that will take the time to learn about it, also the small events during the show is eventful, and we can’t forget the fans and the boys that play for the University Of Texas which makes the stadium be alive.

The band, dance team, and cheerleaders provide the shows for the fans and to make the people realize the stadium is a great place to view the game and the shows. The band, dance team, and cheerleaders all have one thing in common and that would be to entertain the audience and show their passion for what they participate. The band is known as the Showband of the Southwest. They were founded in 1900 by Dr. Eugene P. Schoch which was great for him to do. The band’s first performance was in 1957, in which the members of the team went out on the field spelling Texas. This performance was such a success that this performance has been performed every year. The band performs in all in-state football games as well as pep rallies, and parades that happen throughout the year. To become part of the Showband of Southwest team each member has to attend a year round course, which is a course that is provided by the University Of Texas School Of Music. The band has three hundred and fifty members in the team, and each member has their own unique talent that makes the band be successful and a live. While the band has performances during the games they have traditional shows which are performances they perform in every game at least once, they also have non-traditional performances which are performances that are new and have been learned throughout the year. The fans come from different states to support the Texas Longhorns and to have that first feeling of being in one of the largest stadium. All the fans that go watch the game go crazy and love being there. Many of the fans have so much respect for the stadium that they pick up after themselves and try to keep it a clean environment. The fans that are committed to the Longhorns will go out to games fully dressed in burnt orange and white. The also wear longhorn’s signs on their bodies. Everyone that goes to the games is very much appreciated by the football guys, and the matiness crew for supporting the boys and keeping the stadium in good conditions.
The different events that happen in the Darrell K. Royal stadium is why the stadium is such a great place to visit and a popular place. Many people who have visited the stadium will always leave with great feedback, and will make other want to visit. Having a great big stadium in the Capital of Texas is an honor to many people. The stadium is visited by many people year round. Being able to go to a football game in the Darrell K. Royal stadium and also being part of the many events that take place would be such a great experience for anyone to
