The route 99 — Commercial-Broadway / UBC (B-Line) is one of the most widely used bus routes in Vancouver. During peak operating hours, the bus is filled to capacity and the bus is very crowded. With this in mind, the “99” is a great place to make observations regarding; how people interact with one another in close quarters on their daily commute. I plan to make my observations on a weekday during the evening ‘peak hours’, so I am able to observe a large number of people on the bus, and to obtain a large number of observations. From my own experience on the “99”, I have deduced that, the evening peak hours normally begin around 5pm, and end around 7pm. I plan to start my journey at the Arbutus and Broadway stop, and I will end my journey
