The main road everyone in the world drives on is Route 66. Route 66 relates to leadership because it is running about 2,400 miles through Chicago, Illinois to Santa Monica, and California. The legacy behind Route 66 is that train engines were limited in the terrain they could cross, railroad routes were painstakingly chosen, so they built the route 66 for another option other than taking a train. The cause of Route 66 is because Cyrus Avery links Chicago, Illinois and Los Angeles, California through his town Tulsa. Cyrus became interested in roads after he visited his father’s farm.
