Do people have potential to be evil even as a child? Or are their environments what shapes them? William Golding believed that people were born with the propensity to do evil. As for Jean-Jacques Rousseau truthfully states, that people are shaped from their environments to either good or evil. There are several examples that show that Rousseau is correct about her opinion.
