One man named Jesse Marcel was one to go and examine the site and make his conclusions on what he believes could have happened. Investigator Marcel says, “I still don’t know what it was… It could not have been part of an aircraft, not part of any kind of weather balloon or experimental balloon… I’ve seen rockets… sent up the White Sands Testing Grounds. It definitely was not part of an aircraft or missile or rocket.” (“1947 Roswell UFO Incident” par. 13). Marcel further described the debris of the investigation as indestructible. As Marcel and many others swear this was the crash site of a UFO, there is also the other half that swear it is the crash site of a weather balloon. The U.S. Military response to the whole case was, “It was the remains of a 700-foot-long string of neoprene balloons, radar reflectors (for tracking) and sonic equipment that the scientists had launched from the Alamogordo base in June and that had, evidently, crashed in early July 1947.” (“Roswell” par. 8). They then later revealed that this project was highly classified and hardly anyone knew about it, that’s when found, it was unfamiliar to everyone.
