It shows the daily life of the Cubans. For instance, there are photos show that people are dancing and catching crocodiles. The photo that shocked me the most is that there are a old woman and a young kid sleeping on the same bed. They are sleeping in different position. The young boy is lying on the bed with a mask and a gun on his hand. The old woman is very skinny and looks desperate when she is on the bed. The two people in the photo are so contradictory. They're very different in many perspectives. When I look at the photo, I first think that the picture is sad since the woman is so old and her face have no facial expression. She has negative emotion in the photo. Yet, I find the photo quite humorous when I look at the little boy. The outlook of the book is so funny and it amuses me. This contradiction of the photo really catch my attention. I think the whole movie is quite meaningful and it introduces me to those special and spectacular photos about Cuba.
