40 Award, an award that honors 40 Greater Omaha, Council Bluffs and Sarpy County entrepreneurs, executives and

In 2014, Ross was selected by AIA National President, Helene Combs Dreiling, FAIA to serve as an inaugural member of the
Culture Collective (1 of 3 Associate AIA members out of the 36 member group). The Culture Collective was made up of
influential AIA leaders from across the nation that worked in conjunction with the ongoing repositioning efforts of the AIA.
The Culture Collective identified four priorities as areas where a change network of passionate colleagues could have the
most impact; Exemplary Public Outreach, Emerging Knowledge, Firm Culture, and Influence and Prosperity. Ross
immediately jumped onto the Exemplary Public Outreach group working with the Culture Collective for a full year. The
Exemplary Public Outreach group worked on efforts that raised the social and public outreach of the AIA and the
architecture industry through social media efforts that helped to boost the AIA’s social media presence. The group created
successful hash tag campaigns like the #ArchSelfie challenge and supported and promoted AIA National’s public …show more content…

his licensure to become a registered architect.
DESIGN EXCELLENCE
While Ross has shown dedication to his many volunteering, professional leadership, and advocacy efforts he is also
passionate about creativity, innovation, and design excellence. In just five years of practice, Ross has created a convincing
body of significant work, spanning a diverse range of project types and scales, linked by the desire to create a distinctive
expression for each project. His design work has been recognized in publications, exhibitions, and awards. His work has
been selected multiple times for the AIA National Center for Emerging Professionals Annual Exhibition, most recently in
2015. Ross’ work has also received high honors from the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Great Plains
Chapter and in 2015 Ross received two AIA Nebraska Design Excellence Awards in the Emerging Architects Architectural
