Although he convicted Andrews, Ross did not perform his duty the ethical way. The way that he handled the situation demonstrates that he is not a morally good or ethical person. I believe that Ross is not a good representation of the department or the community. I understand that he wanted to put Andrews in jail since he was a child molester and he didn’t want the same things to keep occurring. The parents also did not make a good decision. Their daughter will end up traumatized for what happened and I believe the parents should have took action and search for the disgusting person who did this to their child. It is illegal for cops to make up physical evidence and use it against someone to convict them of a crime. He may have prevented other girls from being molested, but the situation could have been handled differently. I think if Ross knew who the perpetrator was, he could have interrogated him until he committed to his crime, and then charge him. I believe that Ross’s partner should report him for his actions because that would be the ethical thing to do. It would bother me knowing that Ross is creating false evidence. Even if I was a rookie, I would still report him to the supervisors. If he reports this to the supervisors they might suspend him, or even fire him. Ross shouldn’t even be surprised if he was to get
