If it wasn’t for Rosa Parks the african-american community’s rights would not be anywhere they are today. There are so many extraordinary traits and words that could describe the amazing Rosa Parks. The three words that I would mainly use to outline her as an individual would be brave and strong, amazing at keeping her composure, and a person who never gives up. She was the one who sparked the huge upcoming fire that is ending racism or segregation. Brave and strong, were the first set of words I used to describe the one and only Rosa Parks. These words suit her extremely well because she was verbally and physically attacked for being african-american. But yet she was strong enough to find a way to stay strong through all of this and stand up and try to end the ongoing war of racism. She was brave enough to wake up everyday and demand equality and stand up for the black community. That is a huge help for people because it shows them that should always know to stand up for what they believe in no matter the cost. In those times racism was an everyday thing so the blacks eventually learned to deal with it. They would sit back and take the racism abuse …show more content…
I can’t even imagine how nearly impossible it would be for me to stay calm and collected. But that is just another reason why Rosa Parks is so amazing. Despite being discriminated she was still able to keep her composure throughout her boycott on the bus. She was so dedicated to ending racism, she and other members of the NAACP, ( National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) would go over these events to help her keep her composure. Mrs. Parks worked so hard to perfect this and she pulled it off perfectly. Being able to keep her composure showed the Caucasian people that she would go to infinity and beyond to end
