A man rapes and abuses a woman, and even though she does escape, she had aid from her son who in fact is not a girl. There are two key characters in this film Joy Newsome and her son Jack Newsome. Jack saved his mother from living her life locked up in a shed. He was the one who took the chance and put his life in jeopardy. Joy took the utmost substantial risk in this film. If her son ever became discovered and detained by Old Nick, she would be the one who would face the ruthless punishment.
