On February 6, 1911 a boy who would go on to be the 40th, and one of the best, presidents of the United States of America. This boy's name was Ronald Reagan, or as his parents would lovingly call him, Dutch. He was born to Edward and Nelle Reagan in Tampico, Illinois. Reagan's parents were shoe salesmen and throughout his childhood they were somewhat gypsies. They moved from city to city all over the great state of Illinois looking for work. Finally, when Ronald was in high school, they settled down in Dixon. Here, Reagan took many roles in school plays, and played on many of the school's sports teams.
