In the famous play of love and death written by William Shakespeare, Friar Lawrence says that “young men’s love” doesn’t come from the “heart”, but but originates in their “eyes”(II.iii.67-68). Romeo is not very heedful and when that is combined with Juliet’s inexperience, the play results in tragedy. In the drama “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet,” William Shakespeare utilizes Romeo’s immaturity to demonstrate young passionate love leads to selfish behaviors.
