“Death ends a life, not a relationship.” This Quote by Mitch Albom reflects perfectly on the play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare has written many plays in his life but The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is by far the most noticeable and recognizable play that he has written. In the play, Juliet takes her life so she could be with Romeo.Romeo takes his life so he could be with Juliet. Many people have wondered who was the most responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet. Although there are many characters throughout the play, Juliet is undoubtedly the character responsible for the tragedy. Her actions had caused the death of herself and Romeo. Juliet is to blame because she didn’t tell her parents that she was married to Romeo. Maybe if she did they would have not made her marry Paris which would lead to her not taking the potion. “Some means to come to shrift this afternoon, And there she shall at Friar Lawrence's’ cell, Be shrived and married. Here is for thy pains “ (II.III. 185-187). This quote shows presents that they are getting married and that they are doing it in secret.
