Throughout the play Juliet displays a great deal of courage by demonstrating her undying loyalty towards Romeo. For instance, when Juliet knew her parents would not approve of her newly found love, she speaks to the stars for guidance, "O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?"(2.2.33). By being rebellious, and by defying her parents, Juliet dares to love Romeo, even though he belongs to the feuding Montague family. She also displays courage by daring to speak Romeo’s name aloud in the presence where others might hear. Family restraints can lead to the downfall of one’s abilities to clearly realize the demise of one's life, as well as their love for one another. When a teen is under tight restrictions, eventually the teen will rebel by disobeying their parents’ wishes; similarly, after an honorable girl obeys the house rules her entire life, she will one day go behind her parents’ wishes and do as she pleases. In both of these cases, each is tightly restrained, and lead to rebellion, but the rebel will always get the option of creating his/her own
