Fate is defined as, “The will or principle or determining cause by which things in general are believed to come to be as they are or events to happen as they do” (Merriam Webster). Yes, fate could be blamed. Fate had two people that were supposed to be enemies fall in love at first sight. Juliet states, “Too early seen unknown, and known too late!” (1.5.153). Fate allowed for Romeo and Juliet to fall in love before knowing that they were enemies. Fate allowed them to feel love for eachother, when what they should have been feeling was hate. This is very true, although they wouldn’t have to be enemies if it weren’t for their families rivalry. Two people that love each other deserve to be together, and fate knew that it was true love; however, the parents of Romeo and Juliet would not permit their
