Romeo And Juliet Pointless

Is a pointless fight worth the death of two young lover’s lives? In William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Romeo and Juliet met and instantly fell in love. They were so in love that they decided to marry hours later. With Juliet being a Capulet and Romeo being a Montague, two families who hate each other, it was impossible for them to show their love for each other. The couple thought it would be best to keep everything a secret, not knowing that it would ruin everything. This feud caused the anger in Tybalt when Romeo was spotted at the Capulet party. The only reason the Friar agreed to marry Romeo and Juliet was because he thought that it would put an end to the feud. Everything was done around the feud, all of it was in secrecy. Had the

The narrative voices of male characters in several pieces of art, literature, and music are shown sharing their enthusiastic response of endearment to a woman that they love. “Michelle” was a song performed by Sir Paul McCartney in the White House for President Barack Obama and his wife, the song was written by John Lennon. In the song the main male character sings to the woman he loves. He sings to her to tell her how fond he is of her and how a normal “I love you” won’t do the job for how much he loves her. Very much similar to the song is The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare.…

The feud between the Capulets and Montagues is predominant throughout the play. This is significant because the without the feud there would be no reason to frown upon the marriage of Romeo and Juliet. In the play one can strongly infer that the love of Romeo and Juliet is forbidden. This is is shown through the act of the secret marriage of Romeo and Juliet. Also, King Capulet is at fault for the death of his daughter and Romeo because he has…

There are many people you could blame for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, but one might also say the two households are responsible for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. An example of how the capulets play a part in this is when lady capulet says “Marry that ‘marry’ is the very theme I came to talk of. Tell me, daughter Juliet, how stands your disposition to get married”(Line fourteen, Act one Scene three, and Document B), the person one would blame in this quote would be the families(Capulet). This shows Lady Capulet is trying to pressure Juliet into getting married. Even after juliet says that she does not want to get married, her mother keeps pushing her into getting married by asking if she can “like of Paris’ love”( Line twenty four, Act…

The first reason the feud is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is because it shapes people’s actions and thoughts. As you all know, the feud has existed for many, many years and is deeply ingrained into the minds of the Montagues and Capulets. In critical points in the play we watch the families’ hatred for one another compromise their…

Lord Capulet and other Capulets had a feud with Montagues. The Prince said, ¨This is the third time this has happened because of you Lord Capulet and Lord Montague! (17)¨ If Montagues and Capulets weren't fighting all the time Romeo and Juliet could be together in peace. Also Lord Capulet is to blame and Lord Montague had the power to stop this feud but they didn't until the end. Another reason Lord Capulet is to blame is because Lord Capulet rushed Juliet to marry Count Paris.…

In the beginning of the romance between Romeo and Juliet, Romeo came to the Friar?s cell and asked of the Friar a great request. Romeo asked the Friar to marry Juliet and himself. This should have alarmed Friar Lawrence, and he should have forbade that any such action should be taken. That was not the case. Instead of alerting their parents or just telling them to let it go, he thought that a match between them would save the two families and end the fued.…

Although there were many factors that came into blame of Romeo and Juliet's death, the main cause of their deaths was the feud amongst the Montagues and Capulets. The ignorance and lack of forgiveness of the both families is what drove Juliet and Romeo to take their lives. The feud of the two families is to blame for the tragedy, because the star-crossed lovers(Romeo and Juliet) were never able to marry each other with the aprovement of their parents; the feud was what drove Tybalt to be hot-headed towards the Montagues which led to his death and the banishment of Romeo. Juliet would have never been aloud to marry Romeo publicly, and not just because of the feud but Juliet had been destined to marry Paris. Causing he two lovers to disobey(marry)…

The decision that I found to be particularly hasty was Romeo's decision to commit suicide. I believe that this decision was impulsive and fueled by Romeo's emotions. It lead to not only his death but his lover Juliet as well. If Romeo had been more thoughtful instead of letting his grief and desperate thoughts overwhelm him, he could of created a different ending for the play, one not as tragic. Before Romeo made such a decision, he had been waiting for Friar Lawrence in Mantua to send him news of the uplifting sorts when Balthazar had told him that Juliet had died.…

In Conclusion, I think that Romeo is a young, inexperienced and impatient but loyal and brave boy. I think that his naivety plays a huge rule in this because love was taken as an extravagant feeling to have when it was not truly happy as the lovers can experience heartbreak and many other obstacles. It seems as if Romeo only more cautious and deliberate, his devastating ending could have been prevented (even though we have not finished the book yet). Amongst friends especially Mercutio, Romeo shows signs of his social and quick witted persona, even with his fond of verbal jousting that is mainly about sex. Lastly, Romeo is like every other male in the world who only unveils their true self to the people who they trust or who understand them.…

Resulting Juliet to want and run away with Romeo and live happily ever after, but Romeo was misinformed about the plan and it completely escalated from there. The teenage love expiernced by this couple made them extremely attached and caused them to comit suicide together to be happy. Overall without the family feud this love story wouldn’t be as unique as it was, the feud caused plenty of events that made the climax of the story making you want more. The climax was full of becoming rebelious, secretive, and death. In conclusion, the Capulet’s and Montague’s sadly noticed their faults too late and at last came to…
