The first two acts of Romeo and Juliet contains many clear aspects of a comedy including an obstacle and a compilation. By having two of the four aspects of a comedy in the first two acts, the audience is led to believe the play is a comedy and a tragedy. It would be logical to believe that a discovery and celebration, the other two aspects of a comedy, would show up in the remainder of the play. The first two acts are a comedy because of the aspects of a comedy that they contain.
