Shakespeare created the Nurse as the only accepting character; who is willing to go to great extents just to allow Romeo and Juliet be happily together because of her neutral and unbiased persona in the story. When Juliet had sent the nurse to get word from Romeo on marriage, she talks to Romeo to make sure he is a kind boy with no ugly desires. Shakespeare writes Romeo’s promise, “ I protest unto thee-” (2.4.175), to show how he has no ill intentions, which the nurse acceptingly responds with, “Good heart, and i’ faith I will tell her as much” (2.4.177).
