Romeo Montague is of the Montague house which is the enemy house of his true love, Juliet Capulet. The play he is of is Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare. Romeo Montague is a loyal, brave, and caring character who is in love with Juliet Capulet. Romeo Montague is a loyal person, especially to his love, Juliet, and his family. “There is no world without Verona walls, but purgatory, torture, hell itself. Hence banished is banish’d from the world, and world's exile is death.” (Act 3, scene 3, lines 17-20). By saying this Romeo is saying that he is loyal to his family and his home. So if he is to leave his home, Verona, then it will be like his is being tortured, and he would rather die than leave. “Tis torture, and not mercy. Heaven is here, where Juliet lives; and every cat and dog and little mouse, every unworthy thing, live here in heaven and may look on her; but Romeo may not.” (Act 3, scene 3, lines 29-33). By this Romeo is saying that he is loyal to his love Juliet. Romeo is so loyal to Juliet that it is not worth living at all if he doesn't get to live in Verona with her and see her everyday. “The orchard walls are high and hard to climb, and the place death, considering who thou art, if any of my kinsmen find thee here.” (Act 2, scene 2, lines 63-65). In this Juliet is saying that Romeo is so loving that he risked his life to climb over the high, hard to climb, wall just to see her. He also is risking his life just by being there because if any of the Capulets find him there they will kill him. Juliet thinks that Romeo loves her, but she's not quite sure. So to make Romeo prove to her that he actually loves her, she wants him to marry her the very next day. This proves that Romeo is loving because even though him and Juliet just met each other he is still going to marry her to prove that he truly does love
