Romeo And Juliet Journal Entry

Decent Essays
My feelings for Juliet will never fade from my heart. The feeling are like the war between my family and her family, never ending. My love is as bright as her looks very vibrant and beautiful. Juliet will treat me the way I treat her. I love her and she loves me. When I was exiled I felt so sad from staying away from my sweet wife Juliet (married Juliet secretly). I loved Rosaline but when I learned she didn't like me I felt so sad, but Juliet was the one who managed to stop my sadness with her amazing beauty.

Juliet is very beautiful compared to the person I loved before. She was the one that was the one who made me consider was it worth it to kill Tybalt. It was only for the revenge of my cousin who died in that skirmish. Not seeing Juliet

Incomplete: So far I have read that Romeo loved Rosaline, he kissed Juliet and they fell in love, they got married secretly, Tybalt killed Mercutio, Romeo killed Tybalt, Romeo was banished, and Juliet took a potion so she would appear dead and not have to marry Paris. I think a lot of people of many ages would enjoy Romeo and Juliet because it involves drama and romance. It is really interesting to already know what happens in the end but not know exactly how it happens. I would say this book is very hard because the old language they use is hard to understand, but we get a translation which makes it much easier.…

Faking her death and going to live with Romeo, meant that she would leave everything she had behind, including her friends, family and her home. Despite the fact that she had no other choice if she wanted to be with Romeo, it was a foolish act. On top of that, Romeo, thinking that Juliet was actually dead, killed himself because he was extremely loyal to Juliet as he would die “rather than live…without” her (Romeo and Juliet, Oxford School Shakespeare). Both deaths were rushed, irrational deaths. While pressure from both families drove them to their final deadly decisions, it was their extreme loyalty to each other that caused their tragic deaths.…

Today, I thought I was going to see my love, Roseline, at the Capulet’s traditional feast. It turns out that I lost all interest in her after I saw the beautiful Juliet. It was love at first sight. Juliet’s glowing skin caught my eyes, and I knew she was the one. Now Juliet will be my love, and I am very grateful to call her my love.…

Obviously Juliet's final decision in the play is her most hasty and foolish. She was quick to drink the potion, without considering the damage she would cause to her own family. She wakes up to find her lover dead in her tomb, and like Romeo ignores the advice of the Friar. Instead however she picks up Romeo's dagger "This is thy sheath; there rust, and let me die"(5.3.183).…

Young Romeo felt depressed and felt that he had nothing worth living for anymore. That immediately changed the second he saw Juliet Capulet across the ballroom. Without even exchanging a single word, his heart started bounding and he the world stopped as he stared at this girl. Romeo immediately described her as “the cheek of night/ As a rich jewel in an Ethiop’s ear-/ Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear:/ So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows, / As yonder lady o’er her fellows shows” (1.5.44-48). Romeo began to profess his love to a girl who he had not yet met, show his immaturity and haste towards love.…

Romeo’s heart was torn into pieces by Rosaline as she didn’t feel the love he felt for her, “she’ll not be hit with cupids arrow”. By Romeo using such depressing language to portray how upset and down he is shows the passion he had for Rosaline, “ sad hours seem long”. Romeo also uses oxymoron’s to describe how grieved and hurt he feels, “ I live dead”, O loving hate”. This reveals how confused Romeo feels as the unreciprocated love has made him feel shut down, “ I have a soul of lead”. Romeo uses negative words against himself to explain his emotions which points out to the audience that unrequited love is very heartbreaking and sorrowful and also that you shouldn’t love someone so instantly as it can result to disappointment.…
