Juliet is a royal character who has fallen in love with Romeo, her enemy’s royal son, and is willing to throw everything on the line just to be with him. When Juliet has first met Romeo she had started to like him. We, the readers, can see signs of Juliet liking Romeo when she had said,”If he be married, My grave is like to be my wedding bed”(1.5.148-149). From what she had said we can already tell that she is in love with him, but after she had found out that Romeo was a Montague from the nurse. She had said,”Prodigious birth of love, it is to me, That I must love a loathed enemy”(1.5.154-155). By analyzing what she had just said, we can now confirm that she is in love with Romeo since she had said “that i must love a loathed enemy”(1.5.155).
