A wonderful night full of suicide drama and love. The play that I am critiquing is Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare. This play is a tragedy. I saw the play on 04 21st 2016. On the campus on the USCB hilton head gateway campus. It was performed to by the department of english theater in liberal studies collaboration with the sea island classical studios. The plays main theme is love and death. While that is the main theme of the play the truth drama of the play comes form the two main characters romeo and juliet. The play begins by showing us a heart broken romeo who is invited to the house of his family 's sworn enemy by Peter . He then gets to the party and ends up meeting Juliet. Leave them both fall into a whirlwind Romance.

Some also wore black jeans and others work slacks and they did have a wide array of issues as well everything from high heels 2 black sneakers. while many of the male actors did not wear makeup many female actors that wear makeup it was only the simple evening makeup such as lipstick and eyeshadow nothing to truly distort the appearance of their face. as stated previously in an earlier paragraph the lighting of this play was very basic it was simply too lamp stands facing the stage on opposite sides of the room.The actors were extremely convincing in their roles period after the play I went up to Romeo and Juliet and ask them how did they get in the mindset of these two tragic lovers and they both basically told me the same answer that Romeo said that he had a girlfriend and he brought up the idea of losing her that kind of pain that he could feel. And Juliet said that she has been in a similar situation in her life and she recalled on that kind of pain to give a truly believe our performance. All of the characters work together and played their parts
