Sunday, February 19th- Today, my ship wrecked and only myself and a sailor survived, as far as I can see. I was worried sick about Sebastian, but the sailor said that he saw Sebastian tied to a piece of wood, floating away. I didn't know where we were. The sailor said that we were in the land of Illyria, ruled by Duke Orsino. I had a plan, but needed another opinion. I was going to go undercover as a manservant to the Duke himself. The sailor said that he would help me with my plan.. He said that he would hold all of my feminine products.. After a makeover, including a haircut, and a new wardrobe.. After that I was off to the Duke’s palace
Monday March 1st - I was walking down the corridors of the Duke’s palace when I bumped into a person.

This line said in Juliet's monologue could be interpreted as "Oh, Romeo, Romeo, where is Romeo?" by directly summarizing, but in context in the play, which becomes apparent with analyzing and synthesizing, it's translated to "Oh, Romeo, Romeo, why do you have to be Romeo?" This also evidently proves how the Shakespeare sharpens many skills used by high schoolers on a daily basis, based on how most lines will require them to use and practice these skills when reading the…

The narrative voices of male characters in several pieces of art, literature, and music are shown sharing their enthusiastic response of endearment to a woman that they love. “Michelle” was a song performed by Sir Paul McCartney in the White House for President Barack Obama and his wife, the song was written by John Lennon. In the song the main male character sings to the woman he loves. He sings to her to tell her how fond he is of her and how a normal “I love you” won’t do the job for how much he loves her. Very much similar to the song is The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare.…

The specific mood within literature can be difficult to decipher and re-creating that mood in a film can be even harder. The moods in Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare are layered and built up to produce a heightened mood. Franco Zeffirelli’s film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet face limitations in portraying this mood because of the abundant monologues within the play that lengthens the film, and differences between modern English and old English that cause misinterpretations. However, despite its limitations, the film adaptation properly conveys the mood of Romeo and Juliet.…

Shakespeare shapes ideas about conflict through the ever present nature of the feud. All characters in Shakespeare's play “Romeo and Juliet” find themselves effected by the conflict, especially Romeo and Juliet. Act 1 Scene 5 is very much a scene about love as it is the scene where Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time and share their first kiss. However, Shakespeare reminds the audience of the feud and how it will impact Romeo and Juliet's love by adding moments of conflict into the scene. This conflict is evident in the line spoken by Tybalt to Capulet “This, by his voice, should be a Montague/ Fetch me my rapier, boy ....…
