Tabloids is a type of journalism normally about gossip and crime. I thought Tabloid would be the best choice for this creative project because the scene I am writing about is the first scene in Romeo and Juliet where the Montagues and the Capulets were fighting each other in the Market. This is the best way to represent this scene because a brawl is basicly a crime and the montague and capulet are well known in Verona. My intended audience would be the people of Verona, to inform them about rumours and conflicts going around in Verona. My first sentence “Earlier

Rough draft The play Romeo and Juliet is similar to many of the issues of today’s modern days. Romeo and Juliet has the use of gang violence, use of drugs, and depression/teen suicide in teens. The Capulets and the Montagues are a good example of gang violence, with the two family’s constantly fighting on a regular basis. The crips and the bloods are the perfect example of the family’s hate for each other, Crips and Bloods would fight just over seeing each over on the street.…

One of the most simple and spoken insults in the play was acted out so properly in Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet movie. This one simple scene Zeffirelli used to help create the visual representation. The actors used in the movie production were what tied everything together. Another idea incorporated into the movie was the argument between the servants of the houses, which quickly escalated into a fight which included swords being drawn and swung at each other, involving everyone out on the city's streets. The ways in which Zeffirelli incorporated the live-action scenes are what really added to the movie to create a visual of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.…

Juliet awoke, the pain of the blade still fresh in her gut, her heart beating dust through atrophied veins, lungs choking on still air. The world she opened her eyes to ws balmy and cloying, the heat just short of uncomfortable. She had made her final resting bed on Romeo’s chest, but when she looked around herself now, her love was nowhere to be seen. The damp sand underneath her clung to the knees of her dress as she rose shakily, the sky having taken on a permanently somber guise since the last she’d seen it, as though heaven itself were mourning the loss of Romeo, just as she was. To begin, some people may think that the play, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, should not be taught in school, while others think it should. Although the idea of reading Romeo and Juliet in English class may make students groan and imagine the worst, there are many benefits as to why reading such a difficult and popular type of literature exist. In my opinion, I think Romeo and Juliet should be included in a school’s curriculum because of how helpful it could be to those students. There are many benefits, including that students will have a better understanding of how to step out of their comfort zone and will allow students to understand more complex pieces of literature in life.
