Romeo And Juliet Consequences

People never think that seemingly insignificant actions can have very serious and major consequences, even death. A good example to use is the famous play: “ Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare. In the play, Friar Laurence agrees to marry the two star-crossed lovers in the first place. It is also Sampson's fault, he should have already knew that Romeo is an enemy to the Capulets, and thus not inviting him to the masquerade party. The nurse also played an essential role in dooming the two lovers to death. She helped and encouraged Juliet to marry Romeo, with the help of Friar Laurence. Marrying someone that you just met the day before was a very rapid decision.

There are many people you could blame for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, but one might also say the two households are responsible for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. An example of how the capulets play a part in this is when lady capulet says “Marry that ‘marry’ is the very theme I came to talk of. Tell me, daughter Juliet, how stands your disposition to get married”(Line fourteen, Act one Scene three, and Document B), the person one would blame in this quote would be the families(Capulet). This shows Lady Capulet is trying to pressure Juliet into getting married. Even after juliet says that she does not want to get married, her mother keeps pushing her into getting married by asking if she can “like of Paris’ love”( Line twenty four, Act…

Sometimes when choices are made they can have a lasting effect on the rest of people’s lives. This can be seen throughout scene 1 in act 3 of Romeo and Juliet. In this scene, Romeo makes three key decisions: to not fight Tybalt, to attempt to stop the fight with Mercutio, and to stab Tybalt. The play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, is a tragic love story between the couple’s feuding families, which ultimately leads to their double suicide. Many things lead to their untimely death. While the Nurse and Friar Lawrence are partly responsible for the death of Juliet. Shakespeare positions Lord Capulet as most responsible due to the fact that he is liable for stopping the feud, has forced Juliet to marry Paris, which is why Juliet wanted to kill herself in the first place and that he didn’t stop Tybalt from going after Romeo.…

The decision that I found to be particularly hasty was Romeo's decision to commit suicide. I believe that this decision was impulsive and fueled by Romeo's emotions. It lead to not only his death but his lover Juliet as well. If Romeo had been more thoughtful instead of letting his grief and desperate thoughts overwhelm him, he could of created a different ending for the play, one not as tragic. Before Romeo made such a decision, he had been waiting for Friar Lawrence in Mantua to send him news of the uplifting sorts when Balthazar had told him that Juliet had died.…

In Conclusion, I think that Romeo is a young, inexperienced and impatient but loyal and brave boy. I think that his naivety plays a huge rule in this because love was taken as an extravagant feeling to have when it was not truly happy as the lovers can experience heartbreak and many other obstacles. It seems as if Romeo only more cautious and deliberate, his devastating ending could have been prevented (even though we have not finished the book yet). Amongst friends especially Mercutio, Romeo shows signs of his social and quick witted persona, even with his fond of verbal jousting that is mainly about sex. Lastly, Romeo is like every other male in the world who only unveils their true self to the people who they trust or who understand them.…

Often it is likely that people have good intentions and mean well, but the choices they choose to make can lead to consequences and cause problems for many. “Most of the evil in this world is done by people with good intentions” is a quote said by T.S Elliot which helps to prove that many negative things come from the people with good intentions, and do not directly mean to cause harm. In Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet, the play finishes with a tragic ending where the two main character’s take their own lives due to the character’s choices throughout the book that helped lead to this ending. Although Friar Laurence, Capulet, and Romeo and Juliet all have the best of intentions, their actions contribute to the tragic ending of this play.…

“Revenge, the action of inflicting hurt or harm on someone for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands.” That is how Webster dictionary defines revenge. It seems so simple yet in Shakespeare 's, Romeo and Juliet it is so complex. He portrayed Revenge in three ways; Firstly Death, shown by Romeo killing Tybalt purely in an act of revenge, Secondly grief, illustrated by Lady Capulet 's actions after her nephew’s death and finally, acts of revenge leading to mental illness such as Romeo’s depression throughout the play. Finally the most important thing proven by these events is that Revenge can only lead to harm.…

In William Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ it was clear that the theme of love and fate was conquered throughout the play; which then determined the star-crossed lovers’ deaths. Actions shape and define who people are. This is seen in the play although, it is impossible to argue if fate and destiny are something tangible and visible to the eye. However, if it were to exist there would be nothing wrong in saying that it is one’s actions that will then determine fate. While Romeo and Juliet are responsible for their deaths because of their love for each other, fate does play a significant role as well.…
