Lady Capulet and Capulet himself value the power of the Capulet name over the happiness of their child, this is demonstrated throughout the book but it is made clear when Lady Capulet plans to marry Juliet off to Paris. And from a young age instills the ideals the names have power over others, as shown by “(INSERT QUOTE)”. Now the power over others that they believed a simple title gave them, was not the only issue. Lady Capulet also raised Juliet with a mindset that people were held accountable for their sincerity and name, however, Juliet was smart enough to see through this, as was Romeo when he said “(INSERT QUOTE)”.
