Young Romeo, from Romeo and Juliet, was banished to Mantua. Days passed and Juliet made a plan with Friar Lawrence to pretend she was dead, so she and Romeo could live together. Unfortunately, Romeo did not receive the message that Friar John was going to deliver to him. Romeo not knowing the truth went to the apothecary. The apothecary tells him, “Put this liquid in any liquid thing you will and drink it off, and if you had the strength of twenty men, it would dispatch you straight (5.1.77-79).” Romeo went to conclusion when he heard what happened to Juliet. Instead of going to Friar and asking for the truth, he goes to the apothecary and asks for poison. This shows how he did not wait for more people to tell him but instead went to go join Juliet in her coffin. Furthermore, in “Pyramus and Thisbe,” Pyramus and Thisbe decided to meet in a spot so they could be together forever. Thisbe came first and waited for Pyramus to come, but during this time a lioness appeared. She ran for her life but one thing fell, her cloak. When Pyramus came he noticed it. “Before him lay the bloodstained shreds of the cloak and clear in dust were the tracks of the lioness(Page 488 paragraph 5.)” Pyramus jumped to conclusion when he saw the ripped bloodstained cloak with the lioness at sight. In 1.5.111, Juliet tells Romeo“You kiss by th’ book.” Some people may argue that it was destiny that Juliet and Romeo fell in love during the party held at the Capulets. I see this, but Romeo and Juliet took their “love” too far because they kissed before they even met each other. It was their choice to kiss and when Juliet found out that he was a Montague she should not have wanted to still see him. Moreover, on page 488, paragraph 2, Pyramus and Thisbe were next door neighbors and “growing up thus side by side they learned to love each other.” Although people would say that destiny chose them to be next to each other, it does not mean they had to meet. It was their personal choice to meet each other even though they knew that their families hated each
