“What’s greater punishment is there than life when you’ve lost everything that made it worth living.” Romeo and Juliet where punished by fate for falling in love with each other. They died as lovers, but from two families that hate each other. Maybe their love and determination for each other was worth it, but it wasn’t since five people died because of their fate. They secretly got married, and brought pain and grief and pain to each other’s households. But when they all died in the tomb, their families stopped hating each other, because of the loss of their two children.
There are many people to blame for the two lovers death, like Juliet. She had many choices to choose from but she thought that her love and determination would get her and Romeo together forever. At the dance she should have just stayed by Paris and not have walked around and have meet Romeo. She could have married Paris and have been just fine or she could have ran away with Romeo. Romeo most likely fell in love with Juliet because of her looks and kissed her thinking that they were in love. Romeo and Juliet snuck around and got married at the church. But they are only 14 and they are so young, they don’t even know what love is. Romeo could have asked Juliet to come with her, when he was banished too. Then after Romeo and Juliet got married he killed Tybalt because Tyblat killed Mercutio. That caused the two families to hate each other more. Romeo went to Juliet’s tomb because he heard she was dead, when he could have waited to see if she was truly dead, or gone to Friar first, but he went to the apothecary and bought the poison.
